Inside the Mind of Creative Architect Ying-chin Hung “L […]

Inside the Mind of Creative Architect Ying-chin Hung

“Like the ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent eating its owl tail, sustainability is the endless pursuit of an ideal world, a better tomorrow for us and for future generations. It is a way of life. From a circular perspective, sustainability is equivalent to cradle to cradle. From an architectural perspective, it is the ultimate goal.”

Obsessed with finding the perfect balance of nature, architect Ying-chin Hung embraces nature and paves the path to co-existence with the environment, creating a green architectural space that provides home and shelter to not just people but all species as well.

Experience as a former researcher in biodiversity and sustainable energy buildings at National Taipei University of Technology, as well as his research experiences of environmental psychology at National Cheng Kung University cemented Hung’s decision to pursue peaceful coexistence with nature. “Mother Nature has its own pace. We should respect it. People and nature live together in a parallel universe,” Hung said. He then became the mastermind behind the fair-faced concrete green building sitting on a hillside overlooking Longtan. The sustainable design maximizes natural light and ventilation. Lush foliage and greenery infuse life in the building, like a breath of fresh air.

O’right takes you behind the lenses of Ying-chin Hung to unearth the beauty of green buildings through an architect’s viewpoint.

Q: What sort of design idea did you propose based on the climate, wind direction and landform of Longtan?

In addition to the climate, wind direction and landform, the overall ambience and wellness of the building, and the passive design are also important factors we considered. The passive design possesses locality; aside from adapting to the basic conditions, the building has to offer a sense of comfort and wellness through the power of nature. This is a green building that relies on almost zero energy. It is our promise for a sustainable environment.

Q: What would you say was the biggest challenge you came across during the construction process, and how did you overcome it?

In the first phase, we adopted a fair-faced concrete design, which requires high energy consumption and therefore contradicts the carbon emission or heat load standards of a green building. To solve this problem, we extended the life cycle of the building and adopted different designs on each 4 sides to adapt to different environmental conditions, thus minimizing energy consumption.

The newly constructed Green Education Hall was a much bigger challenge for us. In addition to solving the artificial ground structure, we also had to overcome the greenhouse gas emissions caused by a large amount of glass elements, which exhibit high thermal conductivity. Therefore, we put a bigger effort into the ventilation and cooling effects to create a comfortable, healthy environment for everyone.

Q: What kind of green building designs do most of us typically overlook?

I never thought that a green building is considered a minimal design. To me, it is a building constructed under the simplest conditions to achieve complex functions. There is a diversity of species on earth. We use this connection to achieve a wholesome, holistic environment. In terms of wind and water environment, we adopted the Bernoulli’s principle, incorporating the Koch curve in the water environment to maximize the area of habitats. For the center of the building, we adopted a buoyancy-driven ventilation and water curtain cooling system. The building also features maximum green coverage. Even the parking space has been arranged to meet both functional and green design goals.

Q: How would you define green building?

Not many people are up to the challenge of creating a green building. The most common misconception people have about green buildings is that it costs a lot. But think about it, if the cost is high, then it wouldn’t even meet the standards required to build a green building. We want every building we construct to be green, even if it’s just a small residence or home or space where no one lives. We don’t consider the type of building, but rather the location and environment of the land on which we plan to begin construction. We aim to use the lowest amount of resources and the most environmentally-friendly materials to create a living environment suitable for people and for nature. This is what a real green building should achieve.

Q: How would you describe the conversation between nature and wild?

The wild does not go against animals’ will to live. I believe that nature is wild. The things that humans build should also be organic, like organisms. Architecture and nature should not stand opposite each other, but rather merge together as one. Only by conforming to nature can we truly achieve co-existence.

Note 1:In fluid dynamics, Bernoulli’s principle states that an increase in the speed of a fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in static pressure or a decrease in the fluid’s potential energy. This principle was first proposed by Daniel Bernoulli in 1726, who states that as the speed of a moving fluid (liquid or gas) increases, the pressure within the fluid decreases.

Note 2:Koch curve, also known as the Koch snowflake, is a mathematical fractal that we used to create maximum habitat area.

Raging fires in the Amazon rainforest, also known as th […]

Raging fires in the Amazon rainforest, also known as the lungs of the earth, are triggering global concern. The Amazon rainforest is the largest of its kind in the world and earth’s most biodiverse region and the forest fires are threatening millions of species of plants and animals and people in the area.

The Amazon rainforest, also called the lungs of the earth, hosts the most biologically diverse ecosystem on the planet.

As the world’s largest tropical forest that takes up 50% of rainforests and 20% of forests worldwide, it plays a crucial role in keeping the earth’s carbon dioxide levels in check. The Amazon rainforest has a great biodiversity that is critical for the globe. Without forests to stabilize the climate and regulate ecosystems, we cannot save the world from global warming.

Can You Hear Nature’s Cry for Help?

Forests are the source of life. They are essential for life on earth and one of the planet’s greatest natural resources. This is why sustainable forestry is essential to a better life for the species and people who live in them or depend on them for their livelihoods.

Deforestation has surged rapidly in 2019. The disappearance of forests is threatening more lives than we can imagine and human activity is mostly to blame. According to the Global Assessment Report by the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), one million animal and plant species are at risk of extinction, many within decades. They are being ripped apart from their homes and slowly vanishing. Before we come to our senses, we will already be waking up to the nightmare that is climate change. As the planet becomes eerily silent, it will be heading for the point of no return.

Human race accounts for just 0.01% of life but has eradicated most other living things. Humans take the earth’s resources for granted and destroy forests for our own selfish needs. Without other life on earth, human race will not be able to survive. We are not the only species on the planet. Earth is our home.

Forests are the cradle of life

If Forests Could Speak, What Would It Tell Us?

“Forests aren’t simply collections of trees. They’re complex systems with hubs and networks that overlap and connect trees and allow them to communicate, and they provide avenues for feedbacks and adaptation. And this makes the forest resilient.” – ecologist Suzanne Simard.

Forests are the source of life and they affect all the species and people who live in them or depend on them for their livelihoods.

“When we walk through the forests, what we see as human beings are beautiful trees growing out of the ground,” Simard said. But have we ever closed our eyes to listen to the sounds of the forest? The sounds of leaves rustling as the wind blows and birds chirping merrily everywhere. Those are the sounds of life. Forests are not just therapeutic for the mind and soul but also a world where life converses and connects without words. Away from human-centered cities, forests are like a serene getaway, a completely different world filled with precious sounds of nature.

Keeping the Natural Melody of Nature Playing

If forests disappear off the face of the earth, there will be no more green lands and ecosystems will be destroyed. We will never hear the beautiful melody of nature again. What can we do as global citizens? Close our eyes and listen…nature is sending us a message, sounds that are filled with vitality. The only way to conserve our forests is to apply sustainable forest management practices.

O’right has helped reduced 159,984 kg of carbon emissions by planting trees

This marks our ninth year of taking action to protect the forests since we first walked into the woods and planted our first tree in 2011. What was once a small seedling has now grown to become a tall tree, surrounded by a family of trees. As the world is hit with wildfires like never before, we can no longer stay silent. We engage everyone in collaborative action to advance forest restoration and preserving nature sounds. As long as trees don’t disappear, life will continue.

Women give and give, working to fulfill their roles

As wives, as mothers, as working moms…

These roles cost them their youth, love and time

Things they have lost

Things they cannot regain

What Have You Found?

Do you often find yourself returning home from a day’s work feeling completely drained of energy? The moment you remove your glasses, strip off your clothes and let your unruly hair fall free, do you often let out a cry of frustration of the expectations the society has of women today? If you love work and work hard, you’re a workaholic. You’re single and unmarried at 30. You’re in no rush to get married or have kids. You’re a woman in engineering.–Gasp! Such gender stereotypes relate to the society’s expectations of men and women, and are, quite frankly, a huge source of frustration for women and also extremely challenging.

When you become someone’s wife, you are entering a different phase in life and opening a new page. You begin being the plus one your husband brings to business affairs and social gatherings. But your mind is on other things, like your business trip the next day and what you should wear.

When you become someone’s mother, all of your time is spent on caring for your newborn baby. You’re filled with joy, but at the same time you’re exhausted. You have less and less me time and you don’t recognize yourself in the mirror. However, you tell yourself that watching your little one grow up healthy and happy, it’s all worth it.

Are You Really Fine?

Certain nights, the stress and emotions you bury deep down could be so much that it’s making it hard for you to catch your breath. “If only someone knew how I felt,” you say as you look at yourself in the mirror. All the pressure you try to hide slowly creeps onto your pillow, in your brush and on your dressing table—in the form of hair. Everywhere you see strands of hair that have fallen from your scalp. They symbolize your anxiety and bottled up emotions. Your scalp doesn’t lie; no matter how hard you hide your negative feelings and how much time and effort you put into dolling up every morning, your scalp honestly tells you that no, you’re not fine.

Be as Strong as Your Hair

O’right understands you. Let us listen to the things you are keeping in your heart. O’right endeavors to pamper women with nature’s most precious resources and make you beautiful both inside and out. The things you have lost, you can find at O’right.

Starting from today, try taking a quiet moment to look after yourself. Regain the confidence you have lost because you know that deep down you’re worth it. Pick up your bottle of O’right Caffeine Botanical Scalp Revitalizer to give your hair and scalp the pampering it deserves. The next time you look at yourself in the mirror or throw somebody a glance, you’ll be glowing with beauty from the inside out.

O’right has been the forefront of sustainability for 18 […]

O’right has been the forefront of sustainability for 18 years. From product ingredients, packaging, green headquarters, logistics to CSR activities, our vision to achieve zero carbon is evident in the 1.6 million kg of carbon emissions we have reduced and over 140 thousand of trees we have planted during these years.

Mother Nature is fighting back against climate change. Is there anything we can do? There are many ways we can reduce carbon. Some choose to reuse goods, some take public transportation, some turn off unessential lights while others may plant trees to green up the environment. Little things such as these are slowly changing the world as we speak. At O’right, we are firm believers that small steps can lead to big changes in the environment on our journey towards a zero carbon world.

O’right has never been just a hair, skin and body care company, but a brand that is dedicated to benefiting humankind, society and the environment by finding sustainable solutions to the global pollution crisis and promoting our vision of a green lifestyle. Through our green actions, we have reduced carbon emissions by 1,615,249 kg, which is equal to planting 146,841 trees.

Green products: The beauty of consumers and the earth

Did you know that O’right shampoo can be naturally decomposed when it goes down the drain and into the rivers? In 2011, we introduced the world’s first zero carbon shampoo to achieve zero impact and change the way plastic is used by giving it new life. In 2016, we developed the new shampoo and body wash bottles made from 100% renewable plastic materials. In 2018, we created the world’s first renewable plastic pump as a solution to the global plastic crisis. Throughout the years, we have transformed agricultural waste such as fruit and vegetables, coffee grounds, coffee husks, goji berry root and cypress into valuable resources – natural plant-based beauty products. Through our green product formulas and packaging, we have reduced carbon emissions by 441,421 kg, which is equal to planting 40,129 trees.

O’right developed the world’s first renewable plastic pump to reduce plastic waste on earth.

Green headquarters: A zero carbon world

Everyone who walks into our green headquarters are greeted by the sight of greenery and an eco pond. It’s like walking into a forest, which, in fact, is Asia’s first green cosmetic GMP certified plant featuring an interior consisting of exposed concrete. The entire building is equipped with LED lighting and hands-free foot-control faucets that significantly saves water. In addition, our manufacturing process with renewable energy sources such as wind turbines and solar panels. In 2018, we brought sustainability to the next level by successfully joined RE100, making a commitment to become the first company in Taiwan to go 100% renewable by 2025. Through our green headquarters, we have reduced carbon emissions by 312,949 kg, which is equal to planting 28,450 trees.

A green building that has helped to reduce 300,000 kg of carbon dioxide, creating a better world for future generations

Green logistics: Green carbon footprints

We adopt a carbon-free, centralized delivery system that requires a minimum shipping threshold and optimizes the route by time or distance to save carbon and energy. We recycle 80% of our shipping cartons and use eco pallets each made from 7,300 bottle caps. Through our green logistics, we have reduced carbon emissions by 325,308 kg, which is equal to planting 29,573 trees.

Turning plastic bottle caps into eco pallets

Green impact: Green difference

As a green beauty brand, we also aspire to motivate and inspire people worldwide to step up and save our planet home through our annual CSR events – coastal cleanup, tree planting and Earth Hour. This March, we celebrated our ninth year serving as the initiator of Earth Hour Taiwan, inviting more than 800 enterprises, hundreds of celebrities and salon partners to take a stand for our planet. The event resulted in an impressive 110,000 kWh of electricity reduced during the hour. Our green actions have helped reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 535,571kg, which is the same as planting 48,688 trees on earth.

We continue to progress in our commitment to lower our carbon footprint for a better and more sustainable world. With “green” at the heart of the business, we are living proof that small steps can make big changes to the environment.

We live a modern lifestyle that revolves around conveni […]

We live a modern lifestyle that revolves around convenience, but it’s killing our environment by driving mass production and overconsumption. And now, we are facing the inconvenient consequences of a convenient lifestyle: unwanted plastic and air pollution that is not only contributing to global warming but also suffocating human population. A long-time advocate of sustainability, we have taken it upon us to minimize environmental impact in order to truly live sustainably: by using our creativity to maximize the value of resources.

An innovative, sustainable new trend

“Out with the old, in with the new” is probably the best way to describe the fast fashion phenomenon, which is still dominating the fashion industry and making devastating environmental impacts. As new garments of a new season become available, consumers tend to either forget about the clothes they already have in our closets for the sake of following the latest trends, or simply just throw out last season’s looks. Trendy, low-priced, affordable styles lure people in and end up in a pile of “the forgotten favorites” hidden at the back of the closet before eventually finding its way in the trash. This disastrous and worsening cycle goes on and it won’t be long before this throwaway culture destroys our planet. According to A New Textiles Economy: Redesigning Fashion’s Future, a report published by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in 2017, out of the 53 million tonnes of fibers that are produced every year in the fashion world, 73% end up in a landfill or are incinerated, with just less than 1% reused to make new clothes. If the industry continues on its current path, textile production will account for more than 25% of the carbon budget for a 2°C pathway.

We should look for ways to transition out of this endless cycle of fast fashion. Donating “the forgotten favorites” to charity is a wonderful way to recycle and curb fast fashion’s toll on people and the planet. On the other hand, more and more designers are joining forces to fight fast fashion by repurposing old, unwanted clothing and creating accessories, bags or artwork. Always aiming to pioneer new solutions for sustainable development, we transformed recycled clothing into a storefront signboard.

Celebrating the new O’right Da-an Concept Store which features the world’s first signboard made from wood-plastic-textile composite

Reusing and transforming waste into resources

Inspired by nature, we have made it our mission to maximize the value of resources and lead the way in sustainability. In 2016, we introduced the first 100% renewable plastic shampoo bottle. In 2018, we did the impossible and developed the world’s first renewable plastic pump to reduce plastic waste. This year, we demonstrated our commitment to the environment by transforming 416 recycled t-shirts and 175 kg of recycled plastic waste into a storefront signboard. This innovative, eco-friendly building material shows that we have not only found a sustainable solution to textile and plastic waste, we are also promoting reuse and recycling.

Taking customer experience to a whole new level

The eco signboard is not the only groundbreaking innovation of the new stand-alone store located in the busy city center of Taipei. At O’right Da-an Concept Store, customers can discover the brand’s extensive range of hair, skin and body products through an innovative audio guide which provides a multilingual self-guided tour. Bringing plants and greenery to the interior design is a reflection of O’right’s green concepts. The multi-layered wall cabinet is inspired by the annual growth tree rings. The leaf-shaped mirrors hanging from the ceiling produces images of the store, like raindrops in the forest, symbolizing the connection between human and nature and O’right’s vision for a greener tomorrow. Da-an Concept Store is a feast for the senses and a green journey waiting for customers to explore.

As we stand in the middle of the woods, looking up, what do we see? Sun shining through, the light flickering on the leaves that gently flutter in the light wind. Trees are not only there to provide us shelter on a hot summer day, but also to soothe our body and mind. They are guardians of nature and humans and the nurturer of all things wonderful. Let us take a deep breath and listen closely to the trees, to our lives and to our story.

Treasures of the forest

Trees are Mother Nature’s gift to us. They exist in many forms in our lives. From the advertising posters we see on the streets, the textbooks sitting in a school bag to the parcels and mails stacked up at the back of a mail truck, trees are sending us a message in different ways. They are like a treasure chest filled with precious gifts of knowledge, affections and blessings and we should never take them for granted.

Paper, for example, is a hidden treasure. Every piece of paper can be recycled five to seven times, and each cardboard box that has been repurposed can be given new life and value. These are simple ways to honor trees and sustain life. The choices we make bring trees and us more intimately connected. We all hold the power to make the world a better place. Through recycling, reusing and upcycling, we can give new life to trees and keep the cycle of nature going.

Respect nature by listening to the sounds of nature

O’Love: A hidden treasure of nature

If forests are the spokespersons of nature, then O’Love Chair is the voice of trees. Made from forty recycled cardboard boxes, O’Love is on a mission, ready to knock on the doors of hair salons across Switzerland, Italy and China.

Unlike other chairs, O’Love Chair has fascinated everyone who first encounters it with its amazing versatility and durability. Upcycled products usually require much more time and cost than new products, making O’Love more valuable and eye-catching. People say that traveling is a reflection of an ideal lifestyle; O’Love is much more than that as it tells a story of new life. As it travels from salon to salon, country to country, giving everyone that steps into the salon a warm welcoming embrace, O’Love Chair is paving the way for a greener tomorrow.

O’Love is a chair that makes a green impact around the world

Connecting with nature through passion for life

To respect is to understand, and that is all that is needed to building a harmonious relationship with nature. O’Love Chair spreads green seeds in every part of the world, connecting people to nature and inspiring them to think green and go green. The first impression it makes can ignite hope for a better future. O’Love Chair sends an important message: we are all intimately connected to nature and we are all capable of giving back, to sustain life and beauty on earth.

On the journey of love, as women, we ultimately learn h […]

On the journey of love, as women, we ultimately learn how to gracefully enjoy life. But as years go by, the signs of aging start unexpectedly creeping up on our faces and then the feelings of insecurity appear, which in turn stops us from embracing the loss of our youthful appearance…

Become a better version of yourself

As women, we are born beautiful and naturally, we all want to stay beautiful forever. We shouldn’t let age define our beauty. When we learn how to treat ourselves with the love we deserve, we will find that it will boost our confidence and beauty. We will no longer be afraid to face our true self and our beauty will radiate and shine from the inside out.

As years go by, and skin is slowly losing its elasticity, we want to become the best version of ourselves. We believe that restoring our skin back to its optimal state is the first key to regaining confidence and beauty. For 16 years, O’right has dedicated ourselves to caring for women’s beauty, from the scalp, hair to skin, with the purest intention and the most natural green hair and skin care products. On August of 2018, we introduced a brand new skin care line that focuses on the age reversing wonders of golden goji berry root to unveil the secret of youthful skin.

A precious gem 10 years in the making

The origin of goji berry root can be traced back thousands of years ago to ancient Chinese times as a classic herb. They are hard to come by and require 6 years of cultivation and a 4-year fallow period in order for the precious nutrients and active ingredients to be retained. Research has shown that natural goji berry root extract can help reduce pigmentation and keep skin at its optimal state while sealing in the moisture skin needs. This natural ingredient is the key to restoring plump, dewy and younger-looking skin. Exclusively developed by O’right, golden goji berry root made its way to an international journal BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine and was assigned with an INCI name. Watch it work wonders on your skin! O’right has been devoted to giving women only the most natural and purest botanical hair care for years, now we are offering a green skin care line to achieve youth beyond your 20s.

Natural and pure plant extract: The best for your hair and skin

O’right creates green hair and skin care products formulated with the most natural and purest plant extracts to enhance your beauty and regain your confidence. Pamper your scalp, hair to your skin while making sure that the environment is not damaged in the process with O’right.

“I present my life and soul to a piece of rope, and see […]

“I present my life and soul to a piece of rope, and see the most majestic souls in existence from the canopies of forests all around the world.” –James Aldred

In 2011, O’right visited forests for the first time to connect with trees. Since then, we have planted and adopted 2,660 trees, helping to reduce up to 130,724kg of carbon dioxide emissions. We believe that by indulging in nature, we can learn how to love and protect forests and this piece of land.

This year, O’right set forth on an adventure to the forest, to get up close and personal with nature itself using just our hands and feet.

Our intimate connection to trees

Taking a walk in the woods is the first step to learning how to love and protect the environment. With the warmth of our hands, we feel the bark. With ropes, we feel an intimate connection to trees. This strong connection reminds us of our childhood and induces a sense of respect for life and Mother Nature.

Technical tree climbing is a professional activity. In Taiwan, there are only 10 ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialists. Using equipment such as ropes and harnesses for climbing, tree climbers reach the top of trees to trim and prune the branches. They can reach parts of trees that machines cannot and treat trees with the care and respect they deserve. Tree trimming and pruning not only maintains the aesthetic qualities of trees but also ensures that they remain healthy. Thinning a dense canopy helps increase air and sunlight exposure and prevents the branches from splitting in heavy winds.

Exploring nature from a different perspective

In recent years, tree climbing is not just viewed as a career choice, but also an opportunity to scale trees for education and adventure. It is a great way to see the world differently, from high up among the branches.

The most important aspect of tree climbing is safety. That includes the safety of climbers and the trees themselves. Climbers should inspect all equipment, the tree and site before making the climb.

The most important aspect of tree climbing is safety. That includes the safety of climbers and the trees themselves. Climbers should inspect all equipment, the tree and site before making the climb.

Connecting people with nature

Author of The Man Who Climbs Trees, James Aldred says, “I present my life and soul to a piece of rope, and see the most majestic souls in existence from the canopies of forests all around the world.”

When you’re up in the trees, it is as if time stood still. The soundless yet heartfelt moment is thrilling; it forms a connection between people and nature with the use of ropes. The moment you get closer and embrace it is when you discover how miniscule people are compared to the vastness of nature. This is a feeling you experience only when you make that climb.

Love continues…

For 8 years, O’right has demonstrated our commitment to the environment and to society in hopes of having a positive influence on people and inspiring them to love and cherish nature. Walking into the woods not only brings people and nature closer together but also gives you the chance to learn how to protect and love the environment. In your daily life, on the other hand, start with reducing carbon; slow down and notice the things around you, the old trees in the garden, on campus or along the street. Because as long as there’s love, it will go on forever…

Women’s roles are constantly changing and increasing in […]

Women’s roles are constantly changing and increasing in the society. We’re daughters, wives, daughters-in-law, mothers, specialists, managers or entrepreneurs in different scenarios. We all wish to play each role perfectly, to protect our loved ones, our family and be professional in the workplace. Nonetheless, the one and only role that every woman is destined to play ever since we were born is ourselves.

Happy mom, happy child

Loving yourself is the key to nurturing a happy family. Xinyu Wang is a working mom and a hairdresser. As she faced the challenges and felt overwhelmed as a new mom and experienced physical changes in her body and appearance, she hit rock bottom. The joy of welcoming a new addition to the family was no longer present. It wasn’t until she realized that a happy mom makes for a happy family. Upon that realization, she began to cope with her negative emotions. She started putting on makeup again and arranging afternoon tea dates with her friends. When moms develop a positive self-image, confidence and attitude, they’ll have happy kids.

Regaining your beauty

We cross paths with other women all the time. We’re different in every way, from your age, interests to our appearance. However, we’re all connected by a sense of innate strength and tenacity. As women, we provide unconditional love, time and effort for family, despite knowing that we may not be able to do the things we love as much as before, become sleep deprived, have less alone time and even experience hair thinning and changes to our appearance. This is because we don’t see these as “losses,” but rather the transition into a powerful love and protection. To all the women out there: we haven’t lost anything, we’ve just forgotten that beauty is still possible; regain your confidence and keep your love alive.

Self-love is your path to enlightenment

Do you think you’re beautiful? Do you sometimes feel insecure, or a loss of self-confidence, when you hear people gossiping about you? This seems to be something everyone experiences in their life before gaining confidence and feeling good about themselves. Natalie Pickles, a contestant of Taiwanese and English descent who represented Taiwan in Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2, recalled the time when she was conscious about her appearance. When Natalie was young, she experienced discrimination being a biracial person because she looked different from everyone else. So, she wanted to pursue the kind of beauty that is perceived as beautiful in other people’s eyes. However, Natalie slowly came to the realization that her looks are what make her stand out; she won’t let other people’s perceptions and judgment discourage her.

A woman’s strength comes from within. O’right believes that your outer appearance reflects on your inner beauty, so we have made it our mission to help women regain confidence and glow from the inside out.

When last did you slow down and take a good look at yourself?

Marriage and parenting cost you your youth and memories…

Family cost you love and time…

Have you ever asked yourself, “What have I lost?”

In your hectic life, how long has it been since you’ve loved yourself? Looking back at the things you have lost, you will discover that as long as you regain your confidence, your beauty and love still exists.

As a new mother, it’s natural that you would make your family your everything and spend all your time for your little one just so they can receive the best care. You no longer have the luxury to take time alone, but you’re okay with it because when you see your baby grow and smile, you know that it’s all worth it.

When given the choice between family and love, you chose family. You sacrificed love to give all of your time to your family. Your family is your first priority. For the sake of your family’s health and wellbeing, you work harder to ensure a steady income.

Looking at these true stories told by three women, do they remind you of yourself? As time goes by, have you forgotten to rebuild your lost confidence and restore your youth? When life is filled with tension and stress, and you are experiencing hair loss after giving birth and you find yourself slowly losing your self-confidence, why not take a deep breath and have a good look at yourself. Find the time to love yourself more and treat your scalp and hair with the care they deserve. Put that smile back on your face and you will find in no time that your love and beauty still exists.

In May this year, O’right shared the true touching stories of three devoted women to reflect the everyday lives of women and help restore the things we have lost in the past. The video has garnered over 4 million views since it was uploaded three weeks ago, touching the hearts of many people. The real and raw emotions featured in the videos tell the stories of every woman out there.

Give time to build self-love and show yourself the unconditional love you deserve no matter how busy life gets.
